I’m starting tomorrow! I’m not a runner at all, so I definitely need to ease into it and I’ve heard great things about the couch to 5k. If anyone uses an iphone while running, there is an app you can buy for $2.99 that gives you cues to walk and run while you’re listening to your playlist. I’m going to be running outside and not on a treadmill, so this is perfect for me.

I started this last Monday, so today started week 2 for me! I’ve never EVER been a runner, so this is definitely a challenge, but I’m finding that my endurance is getting better already!

I’m following this program a little bit, along with a 3x/week training class at my gym (it’s killer).
For 2010, Fiance and I set a new years resolution – to run 12 5ks in 12 months!!! I’ve started blogging about it – http://twelve-in-twelve.blogspot.com/
Our first one is on 1/23. yes, it’s outdoor in Minnesota!! Wish me luck!! 🙂 Great job all you “couch-to-5k”ers. Keep up the good work!!

You girls can totally do this! One thing to keep in mind is that you don’t have to be fast! As long as you’re jogging/running, you’re better off than when you were sitting on the couch! Do the intervals like the program says, and as long as you stick with it, you’ll be there! It’s such an amazing feeling when you finish your first 5K!
