I have heard successful runners starting out with C25k. There are other “c2” apps for longer distances too. 🙂

I absolutely love it! I SUCK, I mean SUCK at running (jogging 1.5 minutes was hard at first), but I completed the program a couple weeks ago, and now am doing the 5k to 10k app.

As far as weight loss goes, I would say be patient!!  At first I did not notice much, but then one random day, about 2.5 months later, I realized my arms, abs and legs had really started to tone, and I went from like 127 lbs to 117lbs.  I truly did not notice much from a purely asthetic standpoint the first 2 months, but I guess it takes some time to really build that muscle.

Also, running has really helped my mood, motivation, and stress levels. The fact that I SUCK, like REALLY REALLY SUCK at running makes me feel accomplished, since I can now jog 40 minutes straight (at a 12.5 minute mile pace, but whatever).

Keep it up!

It’s amazing.  It got me running 10 km at one point. I need to do it again!

I actuallly just used it to complete a mud run! I really liked it, but because I would be doing obstacles during the walking I did body weight exercises like pushups or pull ups or squats, or planks, etc. I actually liked it better because I felt like I was getting in shape more quickly than I had done in the past!
