I started training for a 5K run today!!! I’ve decided that as a part of my fitness routine I’m going to start running. My goal is to be ready to run in a half marathon next October, which is a month before out wedding.
It wasn’t easy to get out there, but I felt great when I got home! Day 1 of 36 for the first training program!

Good luck! I just did my first half marathon last week. It was hard to keep training but it felt soo good to finish. You’re going to do great!!!

Good luck! I heard that program works really well :o) I’m about to run my first half marathon in January, and another (hopefully) in March!

I found some really good podcasts for my ipod that go along with couch to 5k. Running is so much easier for me when I have music to listen to and the ones I found let you know when to run and walk. I believe they are called podrunner mixes.

Congrats on your 1st run. In another life, I was a runner, (I really should start up again). If you follow the 5k plan you will learn to love running. It all starts with just one step.
