I post here often but had a question/vent.
The last few weeks havent been able to eat breakfast for nausea. I’m exhaused. I have cramps that feel like my period is about to start. Smells bother me. Certain foods I love (chivken and hambuger and yougurt) just turn my stomach. They make me wanna vomit.
I’m on birth control but a few weeks ago at the ed of the month smehow came up a pill short. must have doubled up one night by accident.
Do you think could be pregnant? if pregnant it will be fine. can handle a baby in my life. its just unexpected.

The only way you’ll know for sure is to test!

you won’t know until you test. if you have that many symptoms a test should show positive by now.

@mrsbreakingbad: your symptoms could be a couple different things other than pregnancy- the only way you’ll know is to test.

I guess you could be since you’ve had sex and some people have gotten pregnant on BCP. But doubling up one day on a pill is not a problem. So it makes me think it’s unlikely that you’re pregnant (since only a small percentage get pregnant on the pill), but obviously possible.
Symptoms are weird, they can be caused by your period, a bug, or something besides pregnancy. Sometimes people don’t get any pregnancy symptoms until they’re farther along, like 6-8 weeks. But you never know.
Just take a test, if your period is due it should give you the answer.

I’ve had the same symptoms just around my period to the point where I keep Zofran ODT at home for nausea. If you think you’re pregnant, test.

@mrsbreakingbad: Could just be ovulation….just your hormones going crazy…sounds about the right time.

@mrsbreakingbad: I would say no because it seems like, even with the pill confusion you would have been safe, BUT the only way to know is to test. I would wait until you expect your period to start to test. Two weeks is way too early to test. You can test up to 6 days before your missed period, but in your case I would wait until a day before or the day of.

Well??? Have you tested???

@mrsbreakingbad: I’d say no if you’re period is two weeks out. Unless you’ve been pregnant a while and didn’t know. Also, at the beginning you get little or no symptoms.

Not pregnant. And after the scare and the “talk” we are planning to ttc in the near future! Thanks ladies. You helped re-assure me in my time of need!
All the best!

Why didn’t you think abt testing? It’s a lot of anxiety to be going through which can be resolved by simply peeing on a stick. No?
