You’re most likely ovulating, and that’s the symptoms you are experiencing.  How long are your cycles usually?

If you think you might be pregnant due to sex a week or two ago; a test won’t show that. Tests show 4+ weeks after you’ve become pregnant. If you’re really worried, go to a walk-in clinic and ask them about earliest test options for you.

It’s probably too early to experience symptoms like that if you are pregnant. Most women only have sore breasts and a couple other more subtle symptoms before a positive test. You can’t really test until a day or two before your missed period, so i’m afraid you’ll have to wait it out. You COULD be pregnant, but these symptoms likely aren’t because of it.

Wait unitl you miss your period to worry. I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t be having symptoms if you’re only a week along…I was 3 weeks along and had no symptoms except a missed period when I took a pregnancy test. Just wait it out.

It’s highly unlikely that you got pregnant the week after your period. And if you period was 2 weeks ago, you should be ovulating now…unless your cycle is off. If it turns out you are NOT pregnant, I would highly suggest you start tracking your periods/ovulaiton. I use the MyDays app on my phone and it really helps me keep from freaking myself out if I feel like something may be off…

With a 28 day cycle, you’re probably just experiencing ovulation symptoms.  I wouldn’t worry too much about this.

I wouldn’t worry too much, but you could always go to a clinic to have a pregnancy test or bloodwork done to confirm. I did a PT about 3 days after my missed period and it correctly said I was preggers. We were trying so I was overjoyed:)

I agree with @KateByDesign. You’re probably having ovulation symptoms. Since you took a pregnancy test and got a negative, and you had your period, it’s unlikely you’re pregnant from a previous cycle. Since you’re only two weeks into this cycle, it’s virtually impossible for you to be pregnant unless you O’d immediately after your period. Even if you did that, it would still probably be too early for you to have symptoms. However, two weeks into your cycle, especially if it’s normally 28 days, is prime O time, and many women experience PMS-like symptoms (cramping, headaches, moodiness, etc) during that time.

Sounds like ovulation to me. Even if you were to be PG, it wouldn’t be affecting you yet.

@Quicksand:  I also agree that it could be ovulation symptoms.  I never had them until I was about 26/27 and after I went off BCP after 10+ years.  My first cycle was messed up and then I got super sore breasts after I O’d.  That is now a normal symptom for me….super sore, swollen boobs (although they do look spectacular for a week or two.)  And my boobs are my sign that I’m starting AF…w/o a doubt, every month they stop hurting the day AF comes to visit.

Yep, sounds like ovulation to me. Wait until AF is a no-show to take a test.

Its impossible to say over internet. Go to a doctor and get a blood test done to show for sure, instead of asking strangers online. everyones body and symptoms are different.
