thrwybee:  first, don’t freak out. Stop drinking liquids/eating for 4 hours and take a test.

I’ve been pregnant 3 times. My early symptoms was lots of cervical mucus. The nausea and cramping and sore boobs happened later. I’ve also had sore boobs and cramping when not pregnant.

Let us know how it goes– either way, it’ll be okay

You’re probably not pregnant, though it isn’t impossible. What brand of IUD do you have? Is it copper or is it hormonal?

Take a test. It’ll put your mind at rest far better than a bunch of strangers on the internet can. We don’t know any more than you do.

When I was TTC, I always thought I had tooooons of new symptoms during cycles I ended up not pregnant. I recommend just taking a test; there’s no other way to know at this point! Good luck!!

Highly unlikely you’re pregnant but take a test and let us know!

thrwybee:  TEST!  and go to your dr if its +.  A good friend of mine lost the pregnancy because the IUD wasn’t in right.  TEST RIGHT NOW>

How long have you had your IUD.  I have heard of several people that I know getting pregnant right before getting their IUD put in, and it was too early for the urine test their DR gave them to show the pregnancy.

I have even read this happening to women on the Bee.

Or, if you have not had it long, and it is hormonal, you could just be getting these new PMS symptoms.

I had a Mirena for years. I think the likelihood of u being pregnant with an IUD is very very low  Especially since you have had it for a while, not like u just got it. Sorry I don’t know anything about tests or syptoms! I thought pregnany tests only worked closer to period date? Or do they just say that on the packaging because it’s less accurate the earlier u test?

I have an IUD, I am three days away from getting my period and my boobs hurt like crazy This month. My PMS symptoms change from month-to-month; some months I have zero symptoms, some months I am bloated and crampy and sore, some months I have a backache that is so bad I don’t want to get out of bed.  I think you’re probably freaking yourself out about nothing and stressing can just delay your period more.

Sorry to make you worry, but the digitals are not very sensitive and give many false negatives because it was just too early. go get the First Response EARLY Result (they have a fast results, don’t fet that one) just to be sure. I highly doubt you are but that’s the test that detects it earlier and more accurately than a blue dye test

thrwybee:  I literally felt pregnant every single month with an IUD. I wasted a lot of money on pregnancy tests… I’ve read around on other forums and it seems to be quite common. Especially the sore boobs.
