Take a digital test 🙂

Could be stress/hormonal fluctuations, but you can never know for sure!

Unlikely but not impossible.  What day of your cycle was it?  How heavy was your bleeding?  The only way to know for sure is to test but the fact that you think he pulled out and it wasn’t likely in your fertile part of your cycle and that you bleed for a couple of days all points to probably not. But not definitely not.

I had a similar issue at the start of the year – those out-of-the-ordinary periods are scary as!! I think you can test now, so you may as well, just to put your mind at ease. If it comes up negative, maybe wait a few days before testing again Smile

Could I be pregnant? If you’ve had sex, then….yes. But don’t freak out. You are more or less infertile in the few days preceding your period, so you’re probably not pregnant. Still possible, but unlikely.

Test!  (Get the Amazon cheapies and keep them on hand for situations just like this.)  But, sometimes you can just get an odd period, too.  And the odds are against being preggers.

I agree with the others. While not impossible, it’s unlikely that you would get pregnant so close to your expected period. It doesn’t hurt to test for peace of mind.

Very unlikely, but taking a test will make you feel a lot better. Even on the pill, every few years I’d get a period that was SO light and short that I was sure I was pregnant, then I’d take a test, negative, and would feel a million times better.

Also– if you have a dollar store near you, those tests are plenty accurate and you can go get one right away instead of waiting for an Amazon order or paying $15 for a drugstore one.

Considering when you did it i would say unlikely but you should still take a test!

I have very regular periods and my husband and I used POM for years with no issues. We had one slip up that resulted in pregnancy but according to my period tracker it was right around the day i ovulated. probably  day 12 or 13 of my cycle. I tested 1 day after my missed period and got a really faint bfp. here i am 18 weeks along….

The stress of all this may be the cause of the delayed period. Taking a test is the only way to know for sure. keep us posted!

@foodnerd81:  yes! the very first test i  took was a dollar store test and sure enough it was right. I used a few more after that to be sure.
