I don’t have enough good things to say about Moissaniteco. DH and I purchased my FB cushion moissy and my wedding band from them. I contacted them with a few questions before I purchased my stone, all of which they were wonderful about addressing. My stone arrived in a matter of days–2 or 3, I can’t remember exactly, but I remember being shocked that it arrived so quickly (same with my band). Both were packaged beautifully and securely, and came with C&C certificates.

I posted my rings on one of your other threads, but here they are again, because ring porn 🙂

I have hada great experience with moissanite and co.  After literally months of emailing questions they made a ring for me that was very customized.  The craftmanship is excellent.

Then I expressed interest in purchasing an OEC stone from them and they sent it for free for me to see in person.   (Which I loved and ended up buying).  They are making another ring for me this month!

Yipeebee:  I was really disappointed with moissyco when my ring arrived defective and a full size larger than my order. To top that all off, they were all like ” no problem, send it to us” I looked into the costs of sending a ring accross the border (I live in Canada, and there’s rules about jewelry crossing the US Canada border apparently) and it was next to imposssible to insure it without spending several hundred dollars. They wern’t willing to help me cover the costs, and I was left with this beautiful ring that I couldn’t even wear. I ended up finding a jeweler and having then fix it (for $200) and the jewler also said that the band was bent. I wore the ring for a few hours around my house before discovering the cracked prongs holding the center stone, so thereis no way I bent that band. The whole process was just really dissappointing, and obviously put a huge damper on our engagement. <br />

I love my ring and I love the moissy, but I would never wish what happened to us on anyone. I’m sure lots of brides have had great experiences with them, but  know that buying online does involve somoe inherent risk. There’s lots of ways to get a moissy and stilll work with a local jeweler.

Here’s my pic, sorry it’s gigantic, lol!

Yipeebee:  You really can’t go wrong. 🙂 I love my cushion, and its sparkle is outrageous, but ovals are beautiful, too!

This is my cushion halo…. sorry not a great pic I was in Tiffany’s trying a band

To be honest the only contact I’ve had with them is for my wedding band and after I got the ring I wanted a solitaire peekaboo as well as I had a question about my ring pricing

1) In regards to getting the peekaboo diamond changed they were courtesy and great with pricing!

2. I saw my ring came with an FB moissanite in the listing and when looking at my finacés nvoice they charged him for the FB upgrade. I contact their customer service chat and I believe it was Chris’ wife and she was pretty rude to me to be honest. The end result was her saying they can change the pricing at anytime they please (which is fine but my ring was just bought a couple months before) but I thought maybe my Fiance had mistakenly paid for the upgrade when he didnt need to.

2) My wedding band is a bit of a different story.Chris has been good, occasically took a week to respond to my message in regards to loyaly points..

Overall nothing so bad that I wouldn’t use them but I really disliked the interaction I had with the wife.
