Hmm, I’m a bit confused.. You say you are 10 DPO but you don’t expect your period for another 10 days?  That would give you a 20 day LP which I did not think was very common or even possible.  Most of what I have read says if you have an 18 day LP without a temp drop, you are most likely pregnant or miscalculated the day you ovulated.  You may want to add temping to confirm the day of ovulation. As for your symptoms, I always have different symptoms every cycle.  Our bodies like to mess with us that way 😛  I had 3 cycles with no sore boobs ever, then the fourth I had sore boobs for 4 days straight.  I wasn’t pregnant. The cycle I got my BFP I didn’t have any noteable symptoms.  I would say wait a few more days since your estimated O date could be off which would make it way too early for a test to give an accurate result.  Good luck!

I agree with @MrsEagleEye:  on this. Something is not adding up… If you’re having 29 day cycles, it is unlikely that you O on day 10 and have a 20 day LP. Futhermore, you won’t have any serious pregnancy signs even if you are in fact 10DPO since implantation will have just happened. The luteal phase has many of the same symptoms associated with early pregnancy so you shouldn’t take them too seriously until your period is late.

@nickels:  Hmmm, I think charting will definitely help! As mentioned before, I’m pretty sure a 20 day LP is impossible. A positive OPK could mean you will O the next day, five days after, or never, it is different for everyone. It really just means you’re having a LH surge and your body is preparing to ovulate, and the only way to confirm that you do ovulate is with charting. GL!

@nickels:  It definitely could be, you know your cycle better than anyone! With my experience and knowledge of OPKs, though, a positive doesn’t mean you will ovulate right away, it could be a few days after that. Also, most luteal phases are 12 – 16 days. Yours just truly could be longer than most! If you think you may be pregnant and truly are 10/11 DPO, you could possibly get a positive on an FRER. That could possibly be enough time for implantation and the start of HCG levels rising. Test and let us know!

constipation and thirst go hand in hand. It sounds like maybe you didn’t drink as much water as normal, and now that’s just adding to your symptom spotting.

The only thing that can tell you if you are pregnant or not is a test!

Oh and OPKs don’t actually test for ovulation. They confirm that you MAY have ovulated/that you MAY be getting ready to. Actual ovulation can only be confirmed through blood test/ultrasound or charting your temps.

@nickels:  I don’t ovulate until 3 days after my first positive OPK. You may be the same way, since you don’t temp there isn’t a way to confirm when you actually ovulate. So actually you could only be say 6 DPO which is too early for symptoms. Do you have an update?

@nickels:  The cramping you described was likely from constipation. I have Crohn’s and constipation is a frequent issue for me and the pain you described is exactly what I get. Also the bloating, thirst, lack of hunger, all symptoms of constipation. Since you don’t normally get constipated, I would imagine you might have had some sort of bug or something that was mild enough not to know it was a bug. Which can also impact timing of AF.

@nickels:  Hang in there. Probably just a wonky cycle. Hope it ends soon!!!
