There is a lot of beading on this gown! I could use some ideas for hairstyles. In my real life, I almost never wear my hair up, but I want to show off my back. I really like some of the loose, flowy updos, but I’m not sure if it would clash with such an embellished dress.
I’ve been looking at red carpet styles, and I get a lot of side-sweeps ! Any ideas or opinions would be very helpful. Thank you!!
Or maybe something like this?

personally, i would do the updo. you can do a loose flowy updo and not have it look too fussy for the dress. and i never really got it when people said “i never wear my hair up so why would i wear it up on my wedding day”. i mean, that’s fine if you really feel that way, but you do and wear a lot of things on your wedding day that you generally don’t in every day life.

My first instinct was an updo before I saw the pictures, but I think the sideswept curls would look really good with your dress. It’s kind of an old Hollywood glam look and I think that would work really well with your dress!

@WhiskeyEverAfter: I like the idea of an up side do….I think this would look lovely with your dress!

I think actually long curls left down would look best with this dress

Maybe a side-swept fishtail or semi-loose and romantic braid?

I’d say a soft updo like the last one you posted, but I say that because the neckline of your dress is relatively high. I think you wouldn’t want to cover up any of that gorgeous front 🙂

Personally I would either do the updo, or if you want it down and curly have it half pulled back and falling quite narrowly down the centre of your back. I think the front of the dress is too pretty to hide with your hair.
