Haha, sure I could! The way I see it, before giving birth we don’t know how much that baby will weigh. Yeah, ultrasounds could guess, but they can be off by a pound or two. So you don’t know if your baby is 8lbs or 10lbs until after you’ve already pushed him or her out. It does sound so painful and tough though! But my 8lb 2oz baby was easier to deliver than my 7lbs 8ozs baby. 😛

I am so glad I never had any ultrasounds at the end to guess the size. But WOW, off by 3lbs is a lot! I know a few ladies to give birth to such big babies too and it’s always shocking to see such a chubby baby. (Though I love chubby babies!)

My cousin gave birth to a 10lb 11oz “little” boy two months ago. Scares me a little, I do NOT want to have a baby that big.

My SIL is normally around 5ft tall and under 100lbs.. and she gave birth to my nephew vaginally who was over 10 lbs!! I felt sooo bad for her, she was very tore up and had trouble walking and getting around for a few weeks afterwards! And my nephew is huge! He is turning two this month but he has looked over 3yrs old for months!

OMG… this is seriously my biggest fear…. our baby is right on track for size right now but my dh was a 10 pounder. i am terrified of having a huge baby. especially since i want a natural child birth. i absolutely do not want to be forced to have a c-section because of the size of the baby alone. 🙁

In nursing school we had a mom that had twins that were 10 lbs each….

Both of my babies were tiny, so I couldn’t imagine having a baby that big. I hope this one doesn’t suprise me:)

Ladies…when you are giving birth, the last thing on your mind is, how big will the baby be LOL

My first son was 7 lbs 13 oz, and did so much more “damage” because he was born hands first…so he decided to add a few inches on each side of his head LOL

My mom gave birth to 10 lb me vaginally with no drugs.  I have no idea how she did it!

It’s funny because my sister was 7 lb 7 oz and my brother was 8 lb 8 oz, and before I was born she said, “There’s NO WAY I’m having a baby that’s 9 lb 9 oz!” She was definitely surprised!
