We were originally going to do a candy buffet thinking it would be a cheaper option for favors, but we were wrong. I found a photo booth company online for $675 for 4 hours and for $125 more they would include a scrapbook that would double as a guest book that they could put their second copy of the photo in and write a little note.
My question is, could a photo booth be considered a favor or should we do something extra as well?

We’re doing the photo booth as part of the favor. We’re also making little stands for people to have at their place settings at their dinner tables to display all of their pictures. We went to a wedding last weekend where they did something similar and people LOVED being able to display all of the photo strips!

It can be done as a favor, sure.

We originally meant to add additional favors, but considering our photobooth is like $1500 (all fees/insurance included), it breaks down to quite a bit per head so that’s their favor.
Photo strips are the only favors FI and I keep from events anyway.

Lots of people use photobooths as a favor, myself included! I also have purchased frames that fit the photo strips to serve both as a favor (a way for guests to bring them home/display them) and as a seating thing (name and table number).

Yeah, definitely. I’ve had tons more people show me their photobooth pictures than anything else people take home from a wedding, so I think it would be a nice little keepsake.

I’ve never been to a wedding with a photobooth, but as a guest I would love it!

that’s what we’re doing. We bought the little plastic photo strip frames that will double as escort cards

I think I may try to find tiny magnets that say “thank you” or something of that nature that they can have too to hang on their fridge. If I can find bulk ones fairly cheap.

honeslty, i have never been to a wedding that i got favors. I had favors at my wedding (candles and candy) most people aet the candy at the party and left the cute bags I single handed put them in. and only about 1/4 of the guests took the candles. my point is dont worry about favors. no one really cares about them in my area, at least.
I love the photo booth. I think most people like them 😀

This is a great idea. It’d be cute it you sent them out with your thank yous, and included a picture of you and husband in the photobooth, too.

YES, our guest loved them! Our photobooth picturers came with little frame stand guest can slide their photobooth pic in.
Two sets of pics were taken, one for the guest to take and the other for us to keep on guestbook. Guests write well wishes on guestbook next to their pic.
I’ve been to family and friends house and I see the photobooth pic they took at our wedding 🙂
