If I wasn’t clumsy as shit I would totally but I am.

A very good friend of mine has a double halo with a gorgeous basket about that big and she wears it so well.

Ugh, no it looks super tacky. I think especially the fact that it’s a round in a cushion halo just makes it look like as many diamonds as possible were crammed onto it with no rhyme or reason. Big and bold can be tasteful – I really love how @thekhaleesi ‘s double halo turned out, for example

papillonazul :  yes I can and do with my current style which sits low on my finger. I have worn other rings though that were higher up (3.54 round brilliant solitaire) which got caught on EVERYTHING and was a pain in the butt. But hey if you don’t mind being looked at everyday, there are women who do it everyday (the wealthy, celebs, etc) and if you ever get tired you can always wear just your band.

Too much coverage for me personally.  I have a friend who wears a stack with that much coverage and she has no problem with it.

Mine is over 5 carats diamond, I couldn’t wear everyday due to travels. I then bought a fake one to wear at work ( my work requires traveling so I wear that all over the States)

papillonazul :  It is a gorgeous ring but it would be hard for me to wear it every day due to my job. I would save it for special occasions.

papillonazul :  I think it’s beautiful and if you often wear regular rings that probably helps it feel more natural.

Wow. I CANNOT believe some of the comments here. She’s not asking you to judge her ring. She’s asking you about the size. Some of you are completely out of line. Why in the world would you call someone else’s engagement ring tacky?!!! You’re being so tactless yourself!!! Wow!!!!!!!!
