TattooedChick23:  my boyfriend and i love the song “must be doing something right” by billy currington. Boyfriend or Best Friend didn’t think he’d heard of billy currington, but when I took him to his concert at Billy Bob’s in FT Worth, he sang every word to the song into my ear. he’s a HORRIBLE SINGER but i loved it. now it’s “our song” and hopefully one day it will be incorporated into our wedding.

I don’t know if anyone in your family is (or if you yourselves are) really conservative. if so, it might not be the best choice haha.

I think everyone will walk out to this, but not sure … Waiting On A Woman, Brad Paisley.

Recessional … Tie It Up, Kelly Clarkson.

First dance … Chances Are, Martina McBride and Bob Segar.

If we let the bridal party come out to a different song I am sure it will be a country song too. Maybe Miranda Lambert’s Love Song.

The only other song we are having is a song during the ceremony and it will be a gospel song.

Our wedding is country themed – hay bales, boots, and a pole barn 🙂

Here’s our songs–

Bridesmaid processional – when you say nothing at all – allison krauss and keith whitley

Bride – i cross my heart – george straight

Recessional – wrapped up in you – garth broks

Our first dance – i don’t dance – lee brice

i have no clue what the entrance songs will be.  I’m struggling with this part!

bridesmaid Procesional: Unsure

brides processional: Oklahoma Sky by Miranda Lambert (we live in OK)

We don’t have a large wedding party (two BMs and Groomsmen, and one junior bridesmaid) so we won’t need a full song to bring the bridesmaids in, and our party out.

Our first dance will probably be Lee Brice’s I Don’t Dance, because he’ll be 40 when we get married, and I’ll be 27. He’s never thought he’d settle down because of his military life, but when he met me it was all over 🙂

I love country music but my fiance does not.  I also have other tastes like pop and showtunes so I hope to have a little mix of everything.  Two country songs that I want somewhere in my wedding is “Hey Pretty Girl”-Kip Moore and “My Eyes” Blake Shelton
