My fiance and I are die-hard country music fans. That’s literally all we listen to and pretty much all we’ve listened to our whole lives. We don’t mind other kinds of music, such as classic rock and some oldies, but we can’t stand the new “pop” music such as Lady Gaga or Beyonce. That being said, I also know that it’s hard to dance to most country music songs and I know some of our guests hate country.
If we decided to play country (a mix of older and newer) during the cocktail hour and during dinner, how many of you would be ticked or get sick of it? Once the dancing gets started I plan on telling my DJ to let loose and play whatever he thinks will get the crowd going, but I feel like before that, not playing country wouldn’t be “us.” What does everyone else think?
