@OttawaBride2011: I’m doing the same in some places, and then just the address in others.

I just did my first and last and our address. I didn’t think to put both of names on there. UGH.

@Mollytov: exactly! plus i just dont see how the arrangement of ink of paper can influence your relationship in any way. blame it on the logic in me.

I actually have a funny story about this! I was in FL attending my bridal shower the weekend my Fiance went to print our return address on our RSVP envelopes, he couldn’t get a hold of me to ask how I wanted it to appear. He told me when I got home that he spend three hours going back and forth between putting my name first because I’m the bride and that’s how we’re listed on the invitation or if his name should go first because he’s the man. He remembers me drilling into him that when we were addressing the envelopes that the man’s name always comes first even if that’s not usually how you’d refer to a couple! Because of that our return address was;  His first name / My first name!! It really should be bride before groom but who really cares! Thought it was so cute that he got so worked up over it!

We had a custom stamp made that I plan on using on the invitation return address, RSVP address and for future thank you card return addresses.  For this reason, we did:

His first name & my first name

Address

City, State, Zip

For our wedding related stuff like the RSVP envelopes we just put:

The Bride & Groom

      Adress

     State Zip

We couldn’t decide what to put so……

Since I will doubtless be addressing the damn things, the return address will be to ME!

I just put my first name and his first name. Our return address labels were done using Vistaprint.

@7-9-11bride: This is what I did, mainly because I got an address stamp and want to be able to use it after the wedding.

On our invite envelope we just put our address on the back envelope flap. then on our rsvp we are putting: The future Mr.& Mrs._______

along with our address since we already live together
