I say do what you both want.  It’s your life!

It’s a touchy subject on the Bee.  But I feel if you’re honest with those involoved, no harm done.  Not something I would personally do, but that means nothing in the scheme of things.  I do think pretending you’re getting married when you already are isn’t right but my dad was big on truth and honesty, to the extreme.   Even if you did it in secret and didn’t tell many people but I knew, I wouldn’t hold it against you, I just wouldn’t agree with the idea of it but I’d still come celebrate/support your marriage if I knew you.  It’s easy to have black and white ideals, but real life is many shades of grey.

Ultimately you have to do what you need/want to do.
