That sounds like something that would sound reasonable to young lovers in the honeymoon phase, but then fucking horrible later.

<br />I don’t see it as indentured servitude.  Both parties enter freely and have the choice of a non-covenant marriage.  It may be ill advised but it isn’t any sort of servitude.  It actually seems to be more like a sacremental marriage that a church would require, with te state trying to enforce church like rules.  You typically make a covenant before God, not the state.  But, whatever.  To each his own.

kl1987:  Well.. it certainly forces you to decide you’re done with the person and your relationship. It’s a bit much and obviously not for everyone.
