To anyone in HR or who does hiring- do you look at the timestamps of job application emails (with cover letters and resumes)? I always wonder if I should send after work hours (so they don’t think I’m writing them while working my current job) or if I should send during work hours so they don’t come in in the evening or if I’m totally overthinking it and no one checks or cares.

I’ve only been involved in the hiring process for one position so far, but I wouldn’t worry about it. Even if it was 10am on a Monday, there’s no guarantee the person sending in the resume was at work. Maybe they had the day off, or work different hours. It’s not worth thinking about, personally.
If I google the person after their interview, and the first result is their Twitter profile, with a half naked main pic – THAT is what threw me off lol.
