I love the buttons! My dress happened to have a hidden corset on the inside, with a zipper, and buttons over it, so I had the best of all worlds, which was nice! ๐Ÿ™‚

I haven’t tried on dresses yet, but I’ve seen both buttons and corsets in person and find that I’m attracted more to buttons/zipper than a corset. In fact, when looking at wedding dresses online, I’ll most likely pass over a dress if I see that it has a corset. I may find that it looks amazing on me, but aesthetically, I don’t find them very appealing. I’ve seen my friend in a corset dress and she looked drop dead gorgeous, but still, I would have to do zipper/buttons.

I prefer buttons but got a corset back for ease of use. I’ll have the ties tucked in on the day and the lace bolero I’m wearing over top has a button back so hopefully I’ll get the best of both worlds ๐Ÿ™‚

@BurlapnLace:  I have an obsession with corsets, when else am I going to be able to wear one?  Plus they’re very forgiving (damn you Oreos!)

@BurlapnLace:  I knew from the get go that I wanted a corset.  I have an hourglass figure and a lot of people don’t realize how tiny my waist is…so I knew i wanted a corset so that I could accentuate that.  lol

I prefer the look of a hidden zipper, but I could see myself having a corset back if the dress already came with it, just because it gives a better fit.

@BurlapnLace:  Buttons all the way! So classy and timeless. Corsets remind me of what you wear for the wedding night. ๐Ÿ˜‰

@BurlapnLace:  Buttons, buttons, buttons!! That was a top priority for me when I was looking for my dress and that’s what I got! ๐Ÿ™‚ All the way down the back also. So elegant ๐Ÿ™‚ I love your dress

I love buttons! I actually really dislike lace up corsets, but would prefer an interior corset with structure on my gown.

I love the look of buttons, but prefer the fit and shape of a corset, so I plan on having both.

Anything except a corset (my ceremony gown has buttons and a hidden zipper, my reception gown has a hidden zipper). Kind of sucks because corsets do give the best shape (and flexibility when it comes to weight fluctuations) but I just don’t like the look of them.

Love buttons, don’t feel like corsets fit the elegance of a wedding dress

I have a corset back and I looove it. It keeps me snug.

I cant vote in the poll though, cause polls are all screwed up on my computer. =/

BurlapnLace:  What is the name/style number of the second dress in your original post?! It’s gorgeous! (As is the one you picked!)
