I’ve been a lurker here for quite a few months, but I’m finally coming out of the shadows for some advice from all you bees…
Thanks to another lovely bee, I now own my dream dress (!) and I’m soooo happy with it! I’m not generally sentimental about clothing, but geez I tried on a bunch of “sufficient” dresses and after many tries, found this one–I knew when I tried it on at the dress shop that I wanted it….and couldn’t afford it. But another bee sold it to me for a song, so I get to wear my dream dress! It’s a Lazaro 3915–I’ll post a couple pics below (sorry it’s such poor quality, but you get the idea!).
Now I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to cover my shoulders without complicating the look of my dress and veil. Why? Well…frankly, I’m a little bit bored with the strapless look and kind of want to mix it up. And rather than wear 2 dresses (ceremony and reception), maybe I could just add and remove a bolero? (Or something like that?)
What about something with color that matches the bridesmaids? Or has a color trim? Thoughts?
Here are a couple pics of me in the gown and my sister sporting the beautiful veil my mom wore at my parents’ wedding (I’m SO excited to wear it!):
