We postponed TTC until we were both fully vaccinated, I can’t imagine going into pregnancy without being protected if I had the option

My doctor told me in February that if I got the vaccine to wait 30 days after the second dose prior to TTC. She said there is no evidence out there if it will effect anything, but that was her suggestion.

If anyone is worried it harms your fertility, it appears to have enhanced mine, lol. It took us 9 months of TTC to get our first BFP. I miscarried between vaccine doses (blighted ovum, so 0% chance it was caused by the vaccine). Received second dose on March 8 and conceived 9 days later.

My fertility doctor advised to get it ASAP; especially with babies being born with the antibodies, so itʻs for you AND them.

his is obviously very anecdotal but I am 100% sure I conceived the same day I got the J&J. Got a BFP 12 days later and all is well so far. Again, just my experience and it’s still early, but I would have gotten the vaccine regardless of the timeline based on current research.

My doctor recommended getting the vaccine and she just said to wait 30 days after the second shot to start TTC. But there is no evidence that the vaccine will effect anything. I am fully vaccinated and we are going to start TTC in July.
