“C!!  That is so sweet of you!  If you like, here’s the link to our wedding registry: http://www.blahblahblah.com.  It’s so kind of you to think of us, and thank you for being a part of our celebration!”

Well in theory you need everything on the registry right?  Maybe if you want to narrow her choices, go to the registry and delete some of the items that are less important to you?

@GreenEyedMoon:  How sweet of your coworker! I second what MissNoodles suggested. I would definitely send her a link to your registry. Presumably you can use everything on your registry, right? If there’s something on the registry that you can really use more than the other stuff, you can mention that, but if that’s the case, I’d be sure to include a few different items at a range of prices (nothing over $75 or $100, and be sure to include something for $20 or less, I’d say). I really think your best bet is to send her a link to your registry and your heartfelt thanks. If I sent a note like she sent you, I’d be expecting you to send me a link to your registry (and might be a little weirded out if you only sent me one thing that you could use).
