Hmmm, when I was in colorguard, my coach was getting married and of course, being annoying teenagers we asked her if we could all come to wedding and party it up. She told us that she would have loved to have us at the reception, but it had very limited space (she also probably didnt actually want annoying teenagers at her reception), but we were more than welcome to come witness the ceremony at the church. Most of us did actually, and we chipped in on a wedding gift for her! 

That would probably only work if you have a separate ceremony site though :/

Some people just can’t stand not being included in everything. Just remember that SHE is the one being rude and making it awkward, not you. When people won’t accept a polite soft “no,” they back you into a corner. I would do what PPs said and continue to restate that you’re not able to invite everyone you’d like and unfortunately, you won’t have room for her. Make sure you don’t hesitate or come off as undecided about it. Don’t let her push you around.
