@teabiscuit: I’d also love to know this but as usual it doesn’t look like the OP is coming back to comment Undecided

@hammerpants:  I wouldn’t come into the thread and answer your question if I were her…not laced with all that snark. Sheesh.

Why all the nastiness? So what if the OP seems to have a lot of drama going on in her life i.e more than average/more than you do – does that mean she’s automatically lying?

There have been times in my life where I’ve had a TON of different ish going on at the same time. I would be horrified if I went to share it with people and they all started ganging up and accusing me of lying. How is that helping or even a nice thing to do?

She’s obviously posting here because she feels it is a safe, semi-anonymous place to vent and get support, so it must be pretty distressing to read all this nasty snark and troll hunting. And people ask why she doesn’t come back? Well neither would I!

I don’t know what it is about the OP – possibly a jealousy thing judging by her pic – but how awful must it be to have women take an attitude with her EVERYWHERE she goes and start bullying her.

I’m really surprised that nothing has been done about this by now. Come on people, this is not nice behaviour.

@Spoonie:  I think that if you come on here and ask for help/advice/support and people give it then you should respond in some way. I know it’s wrong to mention previous threads but I responded to OP’s previous thread about her sister, gave my advice and politely called her out on a comment she made that was inappropriate……no response or explanation from the OP.

I think people think it’s odd to have such a huge problem then not come back to respond….to anything….ever!

Looking back at this thread, a lot of people haven’t been snarky :/

@Spoonie:  +1, totally agree with you. What happened to, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”? If you think this isn’t for real, then fine, that’s your prerogative. But then don’t say anything. I don’t see the point of posting just for the sake of saying “troll.” By all means, exit the thread and don’t read it again, but I just don’t see the point of responding so rudely.

It hasn’t been said OP but is your attire work appropriate? I could see where people may be saying this to you if you are wearing super tight short clothing and practically exposing when you bend over in a way of telling you, Geez wear some appropriate clothing because you look like a stripper/prostitute.

Even if this were the case, your boss should pull you into the office and tell you that you are dressing inappropriately at some point.

I have not seen anyone be nasty here. ANYONE. Simply expressing your opinion does not make you a ‘nasty’ person in this scenario. I personally consider the OP to be a little fishy, for the reasons PPs have posted.

@OrchidsandCandles:  So outright calling someone a troll without any evidence other than it seems the OP has a number of issues going on in her life, is not a nasty thing to do? Seriously?

The mods have said many times that name calling is not allowed and that this includes calling someone a troll.

I personally don’t think it’s nice to even speculate in someones thread whether they are “real” or not – it’s hugely judgemental and possibly even upsetting, particularly in “Emotional” threads, but actually calling someone a troll is downright unkind.

@Spoonie:  I guess because it’s wasting people’s time and considered advice if you never bother to return to the thread. There are a couple of people who have called troll and that’s wrong but many people have offered advice / wanted an update but the OP never responds. It means that for example I won’t bother to give input on her threads in the future as I’m wasting my time trying to be helpful. The best thing is, when people offer advice, the OP takes it, comes back to update to say that we’ve helped…again, this doesn’t ever happen.
