Oh, momma dog is husky /lab mix. dad was german shepherd mix… i guess there could be multiple dads thou.
you are right, i dont see any lab in her but thats exactly what she is!
Can u tell what they are even from this young age? i didnt think I’d be able to tell til theyre a few more weeks old.

Thanks for clearing it up!! That’s great of you to take action like that and care for Mama and the little ones, Serabell. I admire your patience and generousity!! Sorry for jumping to conclusions, I should have read the previous posts!

@canthugallcats: you are right, i dont see any lab in her but thats exactly what she is!
I think she looks a lot like a lab with husky coloring. It’s cute how her ears look like they can’t decide if they want to be up or down! Generally no, you can’t tell what breed puppies are until they are older, (even purebred puppies tend to look a lot alike from one breed to the next). I am just basing my opinion that they are not GSD/Husky by the coloring of the cowpups. Those markings are neither Husky nor GSD…they look more like Spaniel patches (Cocker, Springer…) or something. They wouldn’t have come from Mama Dog’s lab parent, either, but I guess it would depend on what the GSD was mixed with. That’s why I think it will be fun to play “Guess the Breed” when the puppies get older and start developing distinctive features.
No problem! The other thread was nine pages long…would have taken you forever to read through it all! LOL!

They’re adorable. I hope you get some sleep and start feeling better. Those cute little monsters take a lot out of you – we used to foster lil puppies but the most I’ve ever had was 3 at a time and it was exhausting I can’t imagine 10. Can’t wait to hear updates about all their little puppy antics once they start moving about.
I’m not sure where in Oregon you are but maybe your friend can you this coupon for spaying.

Thank you! I’m actually at the opposite end of the state, but the owner goes up to the Portland area sometimes, so I’ll give this to her :). My local county offers a low-cost clinic but its not until October & scary to think, but she could get pregnant again by then & that can never ever happen to this dog, ever! Thanks!!

So I have a dilemma…
I posted an ad on craigslist for the pups, but it keeps getting flagged. People are not believing my story, they’re calling me a “backyard breeder” or that I bred my friend’s dog while house sitting to make $1k, etc. I tried explaining the situation, it didn’t matter.
Idk what to do, I can’t put up any ads because they said they’re gonna keep flagging them. They said I can try when the pups turn 8 weeks old but for now all my pup ads will be flagged. “They” is the craigslist forum people. They can be so rude/mean.
If I can’t post an ad, than I can’t re-home them & I can’t keep the pups much longer than 8 weeks, mostly due to room. I’m thinking I might have to take them to the pound or something & I hate to seperate them from their mom before 8 weeks :(.
How do I re-home pups without using craigslist?

Do you have a local farm store, bulletin boards at grocery stores? Make flyers with those tabs with your email address/phone number and post them at those locations if allowed. Check local vets to see if you can put up flyers in their office bulletin boards. In the mean time, try using another computer with another IP address AND don’t indicate the breed. Just post that they are puppies with different pictures of the puppies than the other listings that’ve been flagged.
EDIT: Try looking into petfinder.com and other adoption websites. Ask petsmart and other pet supply stores if you can post on their bulletin boards.

Try putting an ad in the newspaper or your local Want-Ad?? Post flyers in your town? Facebook?
