We went there last year….stayed at secrets Aura resort which was all inclusive.  It’s a small island and we never left the resort but went on excursions riget  off the dock in front of the resort. Great snorkeling due to the many reefs but not the best place if you want white sandy beaches and lots of beach access swimming….BRING WATER SHOES!!! It seemed to be a popular scuba diving destination though. :+)

It was our first international trip so nothing to compare to but we loved it.  Trying Aruba for honeymoon and will appreciate the trade winds….cozumel was HOT but we went in July so….!! Lol

We went there in 2010 and got a condo with a full kitchen for the week right on the beach. Great place for a honeymoon, IMO. Beautiful but not too crowded. The plane ride was breathtaking. Taxis are easily available and we were even able to get pizza delivered.

We went there for one day as a cruise port and we loved it. We plan to go back to spend more time there.
