prism :   I cramped for the first two weeks of my pregnancy, and sometimes bleeding doesn’t mean a problem. Are your tests still dark? Or are they getting lighter?

prism :  I would call your doctor and explain what’s happening. They will probably want to do a blood test to measure your HCG, which will tell them whether the pregnancy is headed in the right direction. I’m really sorry you’re going through this. As Londonautumn said, some bleeding can be normal in pregnancy, but best to get it checked out by a doctor.

ETA: Just saw your update with your tests. That does look like a chemical to me unfortunately given how light the lines are and that they seem to be getting lighter, and that you’re having bleeding. But again your doctor can confirm what’s happening through the blood test.

I’m so sorry bee. Big hugs.

So sorry you are experiencing this. I didnt take one when i started bleeding at 5 weeks but it went fromt strong pos (almost as strong as the control) at 4 weeks to completely neg at 6 weeks. Hope you are ok. I found the process totally devastating but it does get better.

prism :  since they are getting darker i would follow up with a physician. Could be late implantation abd a sch. Some cramping is normal.  I cramped all the way through with baby 1. How heavy is your  bleeding? With my cp it was super clotty and heavy.

prism :  Ah ok reading comprehension fail on my part! In that case definitely call your doctor. If the bleeding is heavy and your line are getting darker, that’s unusual (although still not unheard of in healthy pregnancies). I don’t think your lines are alarmingy light – 13dpo is still really early, but the bleeding and cramping is concerning. Keep us posted bee – I’m hoping for the best!

Please call your doctor, that is very much what my friend experienced when she had an ectopic pregnancy. I’m not saying you have that, but it’s definitely important to get checked.

When I had my CP, I got a faint positive. 36 hours later I took another test and it was really, really close to stark white and then the bleeding started.

I do see the lines getting darker. Cramping and bleeding don’t always mean miscarriage. It can take 48+ hours for HCG to double, you could be in the middle of it and thus your tests aren’t showing significant progression.

Try to relax, even though it’s easier said than done.

for me I got a pretty clear positive on 10dpo, then 11-15 dpo it was pretty meh: not dark not light, then on 16dpo it was nearly gone so I got my blood drawn and it was clear I was going to lose the pregnancy.  Bleeding started 18dpo

prism :  its awful and a total roller coaster.  I was almost sadder the week after my bleeding stopped when i finally processed it. Hugs. I did a lot of crying and allowed myself to grieve. But fx thats not what is happening to you
