We used them in our cylinder vases with the floating rose.  I think they looked lovely!

P.S. My Mom purchased the crystal ice online and then we sold all of it to another bride afterwards to recoup some of the costs.

Treasure43 – Thanks so much!!  I thought they were simple, yet elegant!  Our florist did the centerpieces for $20-25 each…and we got to keep the cylinder vases, which we sold later as well.  We were going to create our own, but decided it would be less stress for us on the big day.  Good Luck!!!

I assume that you are referring to the atrifcial ice crystal… with that in my mind I have to say it is a wonderful I idea. I am a floral designer myself and something not many people know is the crystals come in different colorss. Also you can use balls and cubes instead of the cracked pieces. You have many options. Think about height of the centerpiece and  effect you want to get out of it.

For my prom (I was the coordinator hehe) we used the type that you put in water and they expand. Our centrepieces look amazing! We also found these little artificial tea lights that had an LED light in them and placed those on the bottoms of large cylinder vases and then filled them up with the crystals. We did blue and white and it was really pretty.

We used some like this (but they looked nicer because we filled them to the top and polished the vases really well.
