Hi bees, FH and I are constructing a ceremony backdrop with fabric draping. I’d like to attach silk flowers to it where the fabric is gathered like the photo below
I’m not sure how to construct a bouquet and then attach it to the pole of our structure, without just tying a bunch of flowers on haphazardly. I don’t want all of the stems showing and sticking out of the bottom, I would prefer a clean look like in the photo. Has anyone done something similar or have any ideas on how to proceed? Thanks!

I’d bundle up the flowers with floral tape and then bind them to the post/drapes with clear cable ties: http://www.amazon.com/Pack-Clear-Nylon-Cable-Ties/dp/B002PNW5XU

I would make an arrangement using a block of floral foam and then tie the floral foam to the poles.

I had arrangements attached to my gazebo similar to your pic. I used floral foam and I used zip ties to attach it. Behind the fabric was wood so the zip tie was attached to wood post to keep it secure. The ties were hidden and you couldn’t see them

@weddingbound: how did you get the faric stay up on the gazeboim being charged a rediculous amount for the drapery. I would really like to DIY it

@MrsKrystalClark: My resort actually supplied the drapery and already had it in place. I was mostly referring to the DIY gazebo flowers.
