I got my BFP TODAY and I have been cramping since this am and I was worried. I thought I was symptom spotting but it’s in such a specific area (right lower abdomen) idk how I would be able to randomly make up cramping. It’s not too bad. Just taking it easy 🙂

During the 1st tri I had lots of dull achey cramping. Especially after I ate, it would ache for maybe half an hour. No need to worry unless it’s really stabby, one-sided, or accompanied by bright red blood. Now in the 2nd tri when I stand up or move abruptly I get some decent pain way down under my uterus (I imagine). That makes me catch my breath, but usually goes away once I take a few steps. That’s also totally normal.

newbabybee: I had cramping for the first many weeks of my pregnancy, and it wasnt until about week 6 or so when the cramping was accompanied by bleeding that I was finally diagnosed with a bacterial infection. I was put on medication, and within 12 hours my cramping completely stopped.
I know that many people have had cramping and that it can be a normal part of pregnancy, but for me it was not. So it never hurts to get checked out if you are concerned. I was shocked at how fast I felt better once the infection (that I had no idea I had) was treated!
