I had some odd twinges on the left and right side at 8 DPO. I got my BFP evening of 9DPO. I haven’t had actual cramps during my pregnancy and certainly didn’t feel anything at 3 DPO. I was also traveling during my TWW, so didn’t pay much attention (think that’s the only thing that saved my sanity!).

I know the TWW is mentally exhausting, hang in there Bee!

mama2beee :  I remember getting cramps the few days leading up to my expected period date thinking they were menstrual cramps. Got my bfp the day after my period was expected, tested bc I was surprised when it didn’t show on time after I’d been so crampy. Due with my baby any day now! Best of luck to you. πŸ™‚

Oh boy yes. I’m 6w3d and not a day has gone by since 2w that I don’t have the occasional dull cramp.  Apparently, it’s totally normal for some people and can be implantation cramping early on and then later it’s caused by your uterus stretching out to make room for the growing baby. I’ve even read it can happen in the 2nd-trimester, caused by round ligament stretching. Same thing happened to my friend and she had a completely healthy pregnancy and now a wonderfully healthy baby. Congrats it’s all part of this crazy ride!

I didn’t have any cramps that early after O but I had cramps pretty much constantly my first tri, starting about 2 weeks post ovulation, right around when I got my BFP. I remember having a couple sharp pains in my side around when implantation was supposed to occur. For reference I’m currently 28 weeks, I kept a super detailed records in my FF app for future reference if I ever get pregnant again. Keeping my FX for you!

I am currently 9PO and having AF like cramps. AF is not due for another 3 days, and I never cramp this early before AF. I did have a CP last cycle so I’m not sure if my LP is shortening because of that so I’m not getting my hopes up!

I am 4dpo and have been having random twinges in the ovary/uterus region since 3dpo. I think it’s too early to be implantation cramps though…the earliest implantation can occur is 6 days, and 9 days is the average. Most likely cramping this early is just normal LP stuff, although the maniac inside me is like “this cramping is clearly caused by the blastocyst making its way down the fallopian tube!!!” …I need to get a life.

blue_eyes0203 :  hey we’re on the same schedule haha! 9dpo too and having period like cramps, mines due in around 3 days as well. I read online that early pregnancy cramps can be a lot like regular pre-period cramps so fingers crossed for us both!

mama2beee :  Thank you! Sounds like there are quite a few of us in the middle of the TWW right now…it is comforting to have some companions in this madness. As for testing, FF is telling me to test on Nov 2, which is cute. Realistically I am going to start testing on Friday, which would be 8 or 9dpo. Although I have a bunch of cheapies so I may start on Thursday cause I’m a glutton for punishment.

Whats your plan??

mama2beee :  I had cramping and twinges from o day right until I got my BFP. it was a sign for me because I don’t normally cramp at all mid cycle, let alone throughout. I’m still getting mild cramps and I’m 4 weeks along

mama2beee :  Way too early for implantation cramping to occur. Implantation is unlikely to occur until 7 days past ovulation. Sorry bee, it is unrelated….although it doesn’t mean you won’t get pregnant this cycle.

Personally, the cycle I got pregnant (took 6) I had no symptoms whatsoever. All the other cycles I swore I was pregnant based off sore boobs, cramps, heightened smell, etc. Then, the day I tested for this pregnancy, I had a feeling…but no symptoms. So symptom spotting isn’t really that helpful sometimes.
