I have cramps like this all the time on my period. Your period changes as you get older from what I’ve seen- hopefully they go away and don’t happen too often. If they do, maybe you should switch your pill.

I don’t know why, but a few times I’ve gotten really bad cramps like that after a night of drinking.

do you have access to a nurse hotline or a student clinic or something? maybe you should talk to a pro.

I get worse period cramps AFTER my period than during. My mom is the same way. We call them “after shocks.”

@Cornmuffin09:  Yeah, but I can get cramps all the time, not just on my period. Might be worth getting checked out but maybe see if it happens again.

How severe is the pain on a 1-10? If it is a 10, you probably should go to the ER. If it’s around a 1-5 you may just want to wait it out.

Are you sure they are period-like cramps, or could it be cramping in your bowels?

@Follydust321:  +1 – good point. If you haven’t gone poop in the last couple days, it could be that. I know I get realllly sick when I’m constipated. Might want to try a laxitive if that’s the case.

Are you feeling any better OP?
