I have never shopped there before. I looked on their website and they have some pretty cute things. Are they suppose to be high quality/end stuff? Is it a safe place for us to register at for a variety of price range?

Yes to all of your questions! I would compare crate and barrel to a more modern version of pottery barn. They have prices at all ranges and alot of neat stuff!

OMG I LOVE C&B!!
I wouldn’t say they are the very top of the line in terms of dishes and glassware but you can’t beat the prices for the quality that they are. They do carry fantastic kitchen appliances and accessories too. But everything I have gotten there has held up amazingly well. I especially love my cupcake pans and liquor bar!
They have so many fun and cute kitchen/home things, for literally every type of gathering you can imagine.

C&B is a good place to register because of the fact that there is a variety of price ranges. My Fiance and I live together and have no real need for registries other than it’s comforting to our guests (according to my mother!). But onceI was in C&B I realized how much I could get for not much money in terms of serving pieces. We picked a dish set – we eat off of Fiestaware every night, but a nicer set would be good to have – some nicer flatware, and a lot of serving pieces.

I LOVE C&B! We registered there for our everyday dishes and flatware, and they’re really good quality. I mean, obviously, it’s not top of the line or anything, but I think it’s comparable to Pottery Barn as someone else has said.
Things were also registered for a got that we love:
Every day drinking glasses
Baking casserole dishes (use them ALL the time)
Cuisine art toaster
I’m sure there’s more stuff. Out entire kitchen of “everyday” stuff is C&B. Highly recommend it!

We love everything we registered for and have received from C & B. I think they are nicer than Target but not as nice as Macy’s or Bloomingdales’ fine china/crystal/silver. Their housewares are just as nice though, and just as nice as Williams Sonoma. We enjoyed registering there because of the wide variety of items and you can really find a lot of stuff at each price point.

I was planning on registering at Macy’s, Target and maybe C & B

Excellent choices! We registered at Macy’s and C & B but Target is great for games, sporting goods and electronics that you can’t get at the other two. Plus, I think that gives you a good-better-best line up. Your guests will have PLENTY of options, regardless of their budget.

They’re mid-range. From what I’ve read (I’m a review junkie) and experienced, their products are generally very good; but, their ceramic dishes are prone to chipping, their glass products are sometimes thin/sharp, and the finishes on their furniture can get nicked up easily. That’s all stuff you can check out by visiting the stores. Considering the quality and variety of products they have, their prices are very good. That’s one of the places my fiance and I are unofficially registered at with our universal registry. 🙂

I’m so happy we registered with C&B. They call if one of our items has been discontinued, or if a guest wants to buy us something and it’s not in stock, do we want something similar or have it removed? Their customer service is impeccable. We also registered with The Bay (kind of like Canadian Macy’s) and it’s been a horrible experience. They could take some lessons from C&B.

We registered at C&B, Macy’s and Bed Bath & Beyond. A good variety that fit everyone’s price range.
Definitely visit C&B so you can see what you’re registering for in person. I thought I wanted these glasses I saw online, but when Fiance and I held them in our hands in the store, they were ridiculously heavy and we hated them. Other than that, we had a really good experience there and love all the nice things we got.
