I honestly think for a groom it is more about seeing his bride than seeing his bride’s dress/es.

j_jaye I don’t really think the groom cares as much about the dresses as he does about seeing his bride. I just don’t think the emotions are really about what you are wearing.

I think thats a great idea! I mean for him the dress may not matter too much but Ithink it will be nice to have two entrances that are unique in their own way 🙂

j_jaye:  also agree. But it’s your wedding so you have to do what makes you happy!

I sort of did this. I had one dress with two different looks. I wore my “reception look” for the first look and pictures and then changed into my ceremony look. The reception look was my dress (plain white trumpet shape) with a black sash and chunky black necklace (the look fit our wedding) and the ceremony look was my plain white dress with a Swiss dot lace bolero over and a white sash. He was super surprised when I walked out and actually asked me if I had two dresses! Haha. It was fun! I agree with pp’s that it’s more about you seeing each period but it was super fun to surprise him. The only thing is that I wish I would have gotten more formal pictures in my ceremony look because looking back, it was my favorite.  Sorry for the huge pics!
