When I was pregnant. I dreamt that I pulled my baby out of my stomach, like alien style, and said hi. It said hi back and then I put him back in my stomach. I was also on a huge Walking Dead kick when I was pregnant and had some crazy zombie apocalypse dreams.

@Cariad:  Ummm yes. My dreams are CRAZY!!! I had a dream the other night I got undressed for bed and I had hairy boobs like a furry triangle bikini top!!! LOL! In my dream I just thought “Wow, these pregnancy hormones are making my body crazy, well nothing I can do about that……” and continued on with getting ready for bed. What?!?!?!

My dreams have also been really realistic too. I had a dream the other night that Darling Husband and I had a little bit of fun time in the morning before he went to work, but I fell asleep in the middle, whoops. I had to call him when I woke up to check if it was real, LOL!

My dreams are so crazy and long that I feel tired after having them!  And they are so random! I saw a commerical for the show Grimm last night and I almost changed the channel afraid I’d have nightmares about all the weird characters.

The other night I dreamt that my brother in law was chasing me with an axe.

Another night I dreamt that my husband was trying to take me to the Maury show because he didnt’ believe the baby is his.  WTF???!!

Yeah…these pregnancy dreams are exhausting.

I had a terrible dream last night. I cheated on my husband (emotionally, there was no physical interaction) with a person that doesn’t exist in real life (which made me feel a little better). Darling Husband found out (a dinner receipt for two) and didn’t give me a chance to explain and drove off and wouldn’t answer my phone calls. I was completely devastated, crying and sobbing, etc.

I woke up and the baby was kicking and my husband was of course right there. I layed awake for at least an hour before I could calm down enough to go back to sleep. I told him about it this morning and apologized repeatedly…not sure why. He thought I was silly to apologize, but I didn’t know what else to do!!

We can thank our hormones for those crazy dreams! You will get them after baby is born as well. I had twins and wow the dreams I had! lol

The one I remember most was I was in the OR having a c-section. They cut me open and delivered the babies and everyone was gushing over how cute they were etc etc. Well then EVERYONE left the room with the babies oohing and awwing over them and just LEFT ME WIDE OPEN on the operating table! I layed there for awhile then starting yelling, “HELLOOO?! Can someone PLEASE sew me up??!!” Nobody came so I finally got up off of the table and was hobbling down the hospital halls holding my stomach togther yelling, “WTF Someone sew me up!!” LOL I woke up and was so mad at my fiance that he just ” left me”. lol

@Cariad:  LOL!! I got up in the middle of the night last week when something fell over in our bedroom and apparently started looking around the house for whatever had made the noise saying “What was that? What happened? What made that noise?!” and then came back to bed making little scared whimpering noises and Darling Husband had to soothe me back to sleep. I don’t remember any of this…..

My dreams are crazy now!  And unfortunately often scary…like night-terrors.  We went to see Batman last night and I was dreaming all night about that guy with the mask over his mouth terrorizing me and the baby.  Darling Husband had to wake me up a few times because I was whimpering and trying to scream…

so weird!

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to revive it.  I’m pregnant, in the 2nd tri, and I’ve been having nightmares EVERY SINGLE NIGHT!  It’s getting ridiculous!  They’re all different too and I’m not even pregnant in most of them.  First I’m getting attacked by a bear, then it’s the apocalypse and I can’t find my family, then it’s just a bunch of weird meaningless fantasy adventure type stuff. What is going on?  I wake up upset every single day with my heart beating wildly.  This can’t be normal…

Christy42213: If it makes you feel better, I have crazy dreams too (24 weeks) and most of them are nightmares or just plain upsetting. I also have way more of those dreams that you wake up from, really thankful that you did, then fall back to sleep just to be straight back in the same darn dream.

eocenia:  Thank you!  Glad to know I’m not alone.  I’m just really getting sick of all the nightmares.

I’m 12 weeks and recently started having insane dreams… I murdered a lady with a nail file to her throat… so horrible. I also accidentally pulled a little boys arm off when I picked him up the wrong way. It’s insane…
