I’m all for remaining attractive (as much as one feasibly can) to your spouse…but that is ridiculous and sad. It’s one thing to encourage each other to work out and be healthy and stay in shape, it’s another for it to be required or else a divorce is issued. Sad =(

omg.. that is freakin insane! wtf.. she’s crazy for even agreeing to that.  Heck no we don’t have any pre-nuptial agreements, and if we did that would ssooo not be one of them!  How sad, I know this co-worker who doesn’t have any children b/c her husband didn’t want her to gain weight or for her body to change! ppsshhh pa lease!

What!!!??! That’s so insane! I agree with ejs – I do think it’s important to try to remain attractive for your spouse – you don’t want to let go completely…but a DIVORCE? Over a little weight?? Nuts!

I agree. He’s crazy, but she’s CRAZIER. Can you imagine the state of mind a woman would have to be in to accept these types of “terms” for a relationship? I think it’s sad.

My Fiance and I don’t plan on having a pre-nup, but if we did…weight certainly wouldn’t be in it (particularly since I am already plus-sized).

I think Oprah had a show about this one time..pre-nups and some of the crazy stuff that couples included in them. I wonder if the husband has to stay in shape as well. I wouldn’t waste the legal fee on this type of stuff…infidelity….yes…abuse…yes…some weight?? heck no!!
