Lets all Post our crazy wedding dreams….
Here are my latest:
I am at the alter getting ready to say I DO and the minister pulls out a reading and says that I have to read it or we wont be married. I am stumbling over the words and almost done when suddenly I realize the last part is written in Russian. I try to read it, but my Russian is so rusty that I can’t.
I am on the plae on my way back from the Honeymoon and we get upgraded to 1st class. Then it turns out that th 1st class seats have less space than coach. I panic attack and then the flight attendent comes and tells me that I don’t have a passport and that I have to stay in mexico. Then they tell me that because I have to stay in Mexico our marriage contract is voided and I am no longer married.

Before I was married I had this awful dream that my venue was “gone” and I had to get married out in the middle of the woods. We had the rehearsal and got ready in some old busted down trailer but the rehearsal went off beautifully without a hitch. Then I had to have my actual wedding and suddenly I couldn’t find any flowers, my dress was torn, and my bridesmaids ran thru the woods to go to Sheetz (a convienence store/gas station for those who don’t know). I went down the woods isle (which was dodging trees) without a dress or flowers and everyone was so disappointed. It was a really terrible feeling and I woke up in a funk. But, once I anaylized it, it made sense. Here’s what I think-
Everyone being disappointed: I didn’t get married in a church. This disappointed his mother, and probably a few others, but they kept quiet about it thankfully. Still got back to me tho.
The dress- It took a looooong time to bustle and alter my dress. I was nervous but what bride isn’t!
The flowers- We had originally sat down and placed our flowers order with a wonderful lady who was the florist at a small shop. Well, 2 weeks before the wedding she was fired for reasons that I won’t disclose but I believe it was not her fault. Eeek! That was a fiasco!
Bridesmaids- Some of you may remember the thread about my Maid/Matron of Honor dropping out of the wedding over Facebook 21 days before it was to happen. Could have something to do with that!

I rarely remember my dreams…but I think that last night I *might* have had one just in which my wedding happened or something, and when I woke up I was really upset for a minute b/c I thought it had already happened and I had “missed it” and didn’t remember anything from it.

I keep dreaming that it’s an hour before the wedding and my makeup isn’t done and neither is the decor, and I have to choose which one to spend my hour on. HORRIBLE.

I’ve been having non-stop wedding dreams! In almost every one, one of my vendors doesn’t show up…one night it was the caterer, the next the band, etc. Clearly my subconscious has a lot of fears over something major going wrong. I can tell where my mind’s at, I haven’t had a non-wedding dream in weeks!

Before my wedding I had a dream that one of my friends decided to get married on the same day as us. So I decided that I would rush over to her ceremony before mine so I could see her go down the aisle. I saw her quickly and then left to head to my own ceremony.
On the way to my ceremony, we (my mom was with me) ended up in a horrible snow storm and get stuck on the side of a road in the middle of a forest. I woke up and actually found the whole thing hilarious for a number of reasons:
1) This particular friend was already married
2) My wedding was last month, there’s no way it would snow (even here in Chicago)
3) What bride goes to another bride’s wedding on her own wedding day?!
