for me it would have to be the fact that when i took my husband to my best friend’s house for dinner (a guy i’ve known since i was 9 and is like a brother to me), my husband who was just my boyfriend at the time immediately said that he had been in that house before. i was like, “what? when?” and it turns out that the year before that my best friend had a halloween party at his house and my husband somehow ended up at this party because of a mutual friend of my best friend’s girlfriend at the time.
how weird is that? and what’s even weirder is that i was invited to that party but i didn’t go because i had other plans. this was like 2 years before my husband and i met.
i just think it’s weird and i like to tell the story:) does anyone else have something similarly random? do share.

Haha that’s so cute!
My husband and I went to the same babysitting course when we were 12, and didn’t realize it until we got together at 16. I forget exactly how we figured it out, but we somehow pieced it together years later. It’s funny because we both remember the same things from the class – the random people who were in it, the crazy instructor, etc. but we don’t remember each other! It’s such a small world…
Also, super random, but on our honeymoon, hubby and I were in Venice eating dinner at a little restaurant on a tiny side street (not in a main area at all) and a couple walks by that we went to high school with. So strange! We were just acquaintances in high school and never kept in touch, but they are back living in our home town (like we are) and the guy is a lawyer just like my husband! Again, such a small world!!

My Grandmother used to watch my Darling Husband when she worked at a Daycare here like 20 years ago…. I grew up in another city and didn’t move here until just about 5 years ago…
When we first started dated and I was telling my grandma about him she was like “oh yea…. I have pictures of him from tender loving care”
Oh and before we were friends when I worked at the hospital as a phlebotomist I came in to draw him once… he had a mediport so I didn’t, and still don’t remember, but Darling Husband does. lol

not me but my eldest nephew and his wife – both their brothers went to the same school (2nd nephew P is downs syndrome and her brother D is autistic)
nephew bought his new girlfriend over for dinner and kept looking at P and when she left their mom asked him if he explained to his new Girlfriend about brother P and how we didnt like her looking at him during dinner. just as she said her peace his phone rings and its new girlfriend asking what school P went to – a little bit more investigation and they found photos over 10yrs from school events/concerts where both eldest nephew and his wife are sitting in the crowd close to eachother and its not a big school, only about a hundred students

My dad was a pastor back in the day. When I was 12, he interviewed at DH’s grandma’s church and was offered the job but never took it. The church is in some tiny western PA town with like 2000 people in it.
What’s really random is it was Easter Sunday when my dad interviewed, so we were all there. Darling Husband and his family used to go to his grandma’s EVERY Easter, so we were likely there together that day. We don’t remember, but it’s really, really weird.

when i was with me ex, he did road side assistance and i would ride around with him to help with paper work and get my pregnant butt out of the house. we did a zillion service calls at an apartment complex and the surrounding businesses (walmart, target, everything) when i left him i applied for a job in that neighbor hood but it didnt work out. when i met Fiance not only did he work at the place i had applied but lived in that apartment complex AND was one of the service calls!! as soon as he i saw his car i was like ive seen that car before. when i hung out at his house i was like ive been to this complex before! i took him lunch one day and was floored when i realized where i was. it was like that whole time we were supposed to meet but it didnt work out.
