We are having a Destination Wedding and I had a dream last night that I feel asleep on the the beach and I woke up at 3:30…wedding is at 4:00. I was in a panic to make it to the wedding on time….I got back to the room covered in suntain oil and suncreen and I threw on my wedding dress….to TOP it off I still had my swimsuit on under my dress. I walked down the aisle with my swimsuit under my dress with it showing……OMG i woke up this morning and it felt soooo real. OH I am so paranoid that this is a sign something is gonna go wrong!!

I have been having these constantly!!
Here are a few:
-I find out my dad is on cocaine and I tell him he’s no longer welcome at my wedding.
-However much stuff I have accomplished now with 3 months until the wedding, is all I have on the day of. Like, half of my bridesmaids have their dresses, no photographer, no food…
– I forget to do something extremely important like send out invitations.
– We decide to throw away all of the “little” details and decide to get married in jeans and in someone’s living room.
Don’t worry! Your brain is just used to constantly thinking about the wedding and somewhere in dreamland, these thoughts get twisted. Good luck with everything!

@cherbear55: Oh my I see u are having quite the crazy dreams like me!!

I’m so surprised I haven’t had many yet. I always have strange dreams about big things that are happening in my life, I had the oddest dreams when I was pregnant.
A while ago I had one like cherbear55 mentioned where the wedding day arrived and I had only done as much planning as I have right now and we had to get married without proper wedding attire and no reception venue etc. When I woke up I was really stressed out about it and it took a minute for me to realise it was just a dream haha. I told FH and he thought I was nuts.
I imagine as the day gets closer and it starts taking over my life a little more I’ll start having them more often – not looking forward to it.

i’ve only had 2 weird dreams throughout the whole planning process and they were both just within the last month. i think my brain is trying to tell me to stop with this wedding crap already, lol
i dreamed that one of my bridesmaids dropped out the week of my wedding because she didn’t want to wear her dress. this girl keeps telling me she doesn’t like the dress i picked, so it’s pretty obvious where that dream came from.
i had another dream where it was my wedding day and nothing was the way it should have been. it was a totally different church, nobody was walking in when they were supposed to or in the order they were supposed to, the readings weren’t the ones i chose, the readers were total strangers, my flowers were different, and my uncle came down with food poisoning and had to leave before the ceremony even started.

@lilchicana: You are right….pretty sure my brain is trying to tyell me to STOP with all the wedding stuff! I know personally that is all I think about…I just can’t turn my brain off!!
@PrincessConsuelaBananaHammock: Seems like all of our dreams have a common theme “nothing going as planned” Today is exactly 1 month to my wedding…..I hope the dreams slow down but I highly doubt that with my constant wedding brain 24/7

Darling Husband & I had absolutely wacky dreams in the month leading up to our wedding. The worst was waking up on the day of my wedding to realise the date on the invites had been printed wrong & that my guests would only be arriving next week. So stressful!!

I have these dreams in waves — haha! Usually it’s theone where it’s wedding time and I’ve only accomplished everything that I have planned up to that point.
When I wake up from them and realize what happened I’m always amused. lol

I had another crazy wedding dream again last night (I blame this thread).
I dreamt that I had forgotten about the wedding and decided to cut my hair super short, then the wedding day came along and I started freaking out about having to get married with short hair. (I think that’s because I had really long hair but I cut it just before we got engaged so I’m trying to grow it out again now.)
Also, in this dream, I had done no more planning than I have now but I wasn’t worried about it this time haha.

Lots of brides get stressed out and have these dreams. You have to find a constant. Yes something will o wrong no wedding is “perfect” but usually it is small- Like things are slightly behind schedule or so and so spills a drink or something. At the end of the day if you are married the day has gone as planned. For me my constant is my Fiance. I’ve had these nightmares too but they always turn out ok before I wake up. Like the one where none of the wedding party showed up so Fiance got his friends to do it…. (yeah lets not go there) Or the one where my dress ripped yet Fi’s grandma had an extra in the car (yes weird I know). We can get so stressed out but believe me while we are detailed oriented most if not all of your guests will not be. Take a look at Fiance notice he can’t tell the difference between Cream and Ivory? yeah thats the same with the rest of your guests. It will be ok.

- Wedding: October 2012 - Prairie Production- Chicago (loft)
I keep having wedding dreams where in each one something is missing…like I didnt have shoes on, or my hair wasnt done, or I didnt have a ride, or the flowers were ready. All of which at the time of the dream- those things werent taken care of. So- when I had the shoe dream- the next day I went out and bought my wedding shoes. And the flowers? The next week I went to the lorist to reserve our date.
Last night my mom went to our wedding in her pajamas… (she still hasnt bought a dress yet for next month). Now that our invitaions are out I wont have the dream I had last month- with noone showing up.
