not sure if it will work in Australia, but I hunted down SO many sites to use, and wound up with MyWedding.com. Free (totally) – good selection of themes & they have other fun tools too. Also, it makes it easy for guests to get to it, unlike the Knot, which are wayyy too long of URL’s

I used theknot.com because it was FREE, because it seemed to be the most widely used (hopefully less confusion for people) and because I could send out e-STD’s that would link directly to my wedding website.

I did have issues with my STD’s saying the wrong date for a couple hours, but I logged in later and they were fine.  Also, you can enter all your guests into a registry and put in their address and email and such so you’re supposed to just select everyone’s name to send the STD, but it just wouldn’t let me, it said the formatting was wrong.  I ended up doing a couple at a time, pain in the butt, but…I made it work.

I used weddingtracker.com. It has been fantastic, but I did pay $29 for the upgrade

We used wix.com.  It is a flash website design site and has tons of different templates to use if you don’t want the typical wedding website.  A good chance to be creative!
