I have a younger family member who has EVERYTHING. She is kindergarten age, and every year I am at a loss as what to get her for christmas. She has a designer wardrobe better than my own! She doesn’t just own a few of those Littlest PetShop toys, she owns HUNDREDS. Seriously. Does anyone have ANY idea what I can get her for christmas??? She literally has EVERY toy I have ever heard of, and what 5 year old likes getting clothes for chrismas??? I don’t know what to do! And I’m serious when I say she has EVERYTHING. If anyone can give me an idea, or the name of a toy that she doesn’t already own, I will be ETERNALLY grateful!!!

something not so techy…make her an art kit. crayons, colouring books, maybe a cd of some fun kids songs, activity books.
sometimes kids like the simple things. otherwise take her out for a day…a play place, lunch, let her pick something small out at a toy store. you might be surprised.

Last year I gave a share in Disney Corp from this company.
Kids are so into Disney brands they can easily understand that they are now a part owner of the company.
You get the real share plus a cerificate you can buy already framed or frame it yourself.
You can also buy shares in other companiers.

Does she have a lot of books? If not, I would go with books. I think kids should see reading as fun not a chore so I like giving books as gifts. There are so many wonderful children’s books out there, even if she has a lot, new ones are always being published.

It doesn’t seem “fun”, but we used to get savings bonds from my grandparents every year at Christmas (in addition to toys, but heck, my parents were too poor to buy us toys back then!), and they reeeeeally came in handy once I started college and they had matured.

I am giving all the children in my family a recipe book that I will make with my most requested recipes. I am planning on putting it in a box with personalized aprons and different baking items. In my family I am the only one that bakes and all of the kids bake with me when they visit. I am making the books with pictures of us baking and using my cricket and beautiful paper and stickers.

You could get her something that you use and it’s gone, like ColorWonder paper or craft supplies, including kits for making pottery, jewelry, etc. Or could you get her an experience? Like a gift certificate to painting your own pottery, baking/cooking classes, or something like that?

Does she have her ears pierced? If so, maybe some earrings or a cute little necklace or bracelet. When I was little I loved getting pretty stuff like that! Does she have an American Girl Doll? You could get an outfit or something for the doll. Last year I got my niece a plant starter kit as she was starting to get into science and she loved it. She still has the plant on her windowsill and it’s alive!
