I am looking for some creative ways/ideas for asking people to be apart of our wedding, such as reading a passage during the ceremony/handing out programs etc. More or less the odds and ends details I want to include family and friends on for our wedding.
But, I feel that a phone call (since most of our family lives out of state) is a boring way to ask those people to take part, any one have any ideas on ways to be creative about it? Thanks!

Maybe a fun card that you make yourself and mail to them? It would be cool if you could skype them! 🙂

Distances are horrible when it comes to planning weddings!!! If you don’t want to do a phone call or e-mail you could always mail them different things. I thought of mailing a mini-puzzle that I made, so when they put all the pieces together it said “will you be my ________”. You could also mail postcards with one word written on it so over 1 or 2 weeks the recieve one word a day and then they have to put them together to spell out “Would you please read a passage at our wedding”.
I have also heard of people sending flowers or a candy bouquette with a nice note attached.
Hope this helps!
