Instead of Frankie says Relax, you can use you and the grooms name on two different tee shirts. so for example : Linda Says Relax. lol

Maybe even a phrase from Billy Idol’s White wedding. It’s a nice day for a white wedding πŸ™‚

As a child of the 80’s I should be able to think of something!  Hmm…. I also immediately thought of the Frankie t-shirt, and there was also Choose Life and Go Go (Wham) — big black letters on white t-shirts.  I seem to remember neon letters on white t-shirts, too.  Of course the ripped t-shirt Flashdance look.  Sigh…

Not sure if you’d want to do anything with your own images… the Aha and Duran Duran references above reminded me of the concert t-shirts from back then – they had stylized photos typically on some blur of primary or neon colors, kind of like this:

I’ll keep thinking!!  Sounds like an awesome reception! πŸ™‚

@Crazyhair:  Ooh, that’s good, the VH logo was very iconic, so that would be great!

How about using the MTV logo but using your couple’s monogram instead?

I’ve got this! I was my sorority t-shirt chair.

ACDC logo with your initials instead of AC/DC.

Back to the Future theme. Use the car and the font for the shirts. Or you could have the groom holding the bride on a hoverboard!

NKOTB reference! New *Mrs LastName* On The Block.

KISS theme shirts: “Rock all day and Roll all night” on the shirt in the KISS font. Some variation like that. Or, a KISS Hotter Than Hell shirt. “New Mrs. Lastname- Hotter Than Hell”. Slightly inppropriate but fun nonetheless.

Mullet theme: Marriage in the front party in the back.

Dukes of Hazzard because short shorts!! I advise against using the Confederate flag in this one…

Cops: Use that 80s Robocop font to write CrazyHair Reception 2013 on the shirt and put aviators somewhere on the shirt.

Cheesy Spin the Bottle theme. Have a picture of an old 7up bottle on the shirt with a swirl behind it and say something like “we spun the bottle… the rest is history”

TOP GUN: A play on the “I’ll be your wingman” line, like “Mrs and Mr- Wingmen for Life” or even just “I’ll be your wingman for life.” OH!!!! “Requesting permission for flyby” “Permission granted” SO many options.

Shirts with the tux printed on the front are totally 80s. I’m thinking Spicoli here. Maybe those for the men and the shirts with the bikini body on them for the women? I mean, how rockin would your grandma look with her bikini bod shirt look?!

A neon T-Rex that says “T-Rexillent!”

You could do a Fast Times at Ridgemont High reference. Have Spicolis face (or checkerboard Vans) and a quote “All I need is a diamond ring, a tasty cake, and I’m married!” (Instead of his quote “All I need are some cool waves, a tasty buzz and I’m fine.” or something)

Rick Astley- Never Gonna Give You Up. Yes- troll your wedding guests!!!

Rubiks cube favors if shirts don’t work out. I bet you can customize them somehwere!

Keep us posted!!!
