Due to tight funds we are getting both sets of parents larger gifts after the wedding when more cash frees up. But, I did want to have something small to give to my mother on my wedding day.
She’s not the type that likes little trinkets and keepsakes (plaques, handkercheifs, etc). I am wondering if anyone has any ideas for a creative mother of the bride gift?

Are you crafty? Did she keep any our your baby clothes? You could stitch up a little pillow — or something more practical, like a cell phone case! — using sentimental garments or material.

I like the blurb idea! That may really work.
I also love the idea of making a cell phone case, or something out of old clothes, but she lives in a different state than me, so it would be hard to get up there and go through it all without her asking about what I’m doing. I also like the idea of being able to use those little jumpers for my own babies some day soon. She used to embroider a lot and they’re all sewed up really pretty. Would be very sentimental to put my kids in them, so not sure I would want to cut them up. Awesome idea though! Thanks! 🙂
