we live in LA and are getting married in Connecticut. We have a pretty large wedding party and my Future Father-In-Law is stressing about costs. He wants to invite some Out of Town guests which brings the count up into the 30s (only an 80person wedding).
Where I am getting married is crazy expensive (Fairfield County) and while I know some restaurants and visited a few, nothing was worth the money. We want to have the dinner after the day time rehearsal near the site (no food at the site). Having it at someone’s home is not an option either 🙁
Is anyone doing something different for their rehearsal dinner for either fun or to cut costs (or both)? I definitely want to have a great meal but trying to think out of the box!
