So I have my dress listed in the classifieds here and for sale on pre-owned wedding dress. So far no bites. Does anyone have fun any ideas for what I can do with my dress if it doesn’t sell? I don’t think I plan on having kids, so I don’t need to save it and I think it’s too bridal to shorten. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks

Have it made into a quilt?

@soon2bmrsmiles – I probably will do that if I don’t find something fun to do with it or sell it.
@zippylef – how do you do that?

@CruiseWedding2010: There are places online where you can send it in and have it made.

@snowpeony – is it expensive to have that done?

I had a friend who made her dress into batism gowns for her kids.

My photographer does a “trash the dress” session after the wedding. Takes fun photographs with you and your new husband in a less formal setting of your choice. Saw some beautiful shots he took of couples at the beach, in the woods, wading in a lake, people painting eachother (i dont know if i’d go for that!) jumping in a ball pit or on a trampoline etc.

You could put it in a glass case and preserve it museum stylelike a Real Housewive of Beverly Hills.

Have a seamstress make it into a Christmas tree skirt 🙂 There’s a tutorial on here somewhere!
