I made a small chipboard scrapbook album for my Maid/Matron of Honor with pics of us. There was a poem that said something like, “You’ve stood with me for all these years, now will you stand with me as make Fiance my husband?” I’m not entirely certain of the wording, it sounds silly when I read it now, but it was something to that effect!

I sent each Bridesmaid or Best Man a photo greeting card from Snapfish ($2 each). Each card was different – with a photo of me and the Bridesmaid or Best Man on the front of each card –  and the inside listed 10 reasons why they should be my Bridesmaid or Best Man.. Most of my BMs live out of the area so sending them a card in the mail was the perfect way to let them know!

I can’t take credit for this idea though!! I actually stole this idea from another bee who posted a few months ago (I can’t find the original thread now of course….). Some of the top 10 things she listed I used too, but some I changed to make it more personal. Here’s the gist of what I wrote:

Top 10 reasons why you should be my Bridesmaid or Best Man:

10. I know you will help plan the best bachelorette party, 9. I promise I won’t make you wear an ugly dress, 8. Who else is going to listen to me ramble on about favors, invitations and my guest list?, 7. I need someone to hold my dress when I pee, 6. My Fiance asked for some hot girls to be in the wedding party, and so on….. and the number 1 reason why should be my Bridesmaid or Best Man is because… you are one of my best friends and I can’t imagine doing this without you!!

Anyways, I’m not sappy so my top ten is pretty goofy.. The girls loved it and all got a pretty good laugh out of it. You can tweak the top ten to make it as silly or sweet you want!
