My cousin and I are more like sisters and have had a pact in place since we were 4 that we would be each others Maid/Matron of Honor. Even at 30 years old, we’re closer than ever and I can’t imagine anyone else standing next to me when I get married.
I haven’t officially asked her to be my Maid/Matron of Honor, but she has correctly assumed that it’s her job. I’d like to officially ask her though. I was thinking of sending her flowers and writing on the card something like “Hey, you look great holding flowers! Would you be my MOH?” Is this a cute idea? Does anyone else have any other creative ideas of how to ask her when she already knows?
What about our flower girl (my cousin’s daughter (7)) and our two ring bearers (my cousin’s son (4) and FI’s nephew (2))? I know the boys probably won’t even know what’s going on, but I’d like to do something special, especially for the flower girl? Any ideas?
