A couple years ago, we went to see a model home and it was staged with a beautiful round crib. It’s completely impractical, but it’s what will be in our nursery in December. We both just love the look and are fine with buying a toddler bed once he or she needs it.

We chose the Graco Lauren convertible crib. It’s very affordable and we’ve received several compliments on it when we’ve shown people the nursery.

We are going with one from Pottery Barn Kids.  They go from crib to toddler bed to headboard.  Well worth the money!

We’re going with the white Gulliver crib from Ikea. We wanted something super clean and modern/mid-century modern and this fit the bill. We saw them in-store and they’re quite sturdy. I read a lot of good reviews online for the Gulliver crib and I like the fact that it conforms to both US and EU safety standards. It converts to a toddler bed without any extra parts/expenses. We’ll get a nice mattress somewhere else.

The price of course is way cheaper than anyone else’s, including Target. Darling Husband didn’t have a specific budget and I could’ve gone for something pricier, but we really like the simplicity of this one and we were planning on having LO co-sleep in an adjacent bassinet at night anyway. This is more for daytime use.
